Randy Wood, AIA completed his architectural training at the New York Institute of Technology, School of Architecture. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Architecture and joined The Edelman Partnership in 1988. In 1998, he was named partner and in 2002 helped transition the firm to Edelman Sultan Knox Wood/Architects LLP. Randy also serves as a board member for the St. Mark’s Historic Landmark Fund. Although Randy has adopted New York as his home, he is originally from Boston and, for better or worse is a die-hard Red Sox fan. Inspired by the images of New York as rendered in his childhood comic books, Randy set his sights on living and working in Gotham. On weekends, Randy brews beer and reigns as the master of the grill; on occasion he even treats the office to ribs smothered in his homemade barbecue sauce. Although he won’t admit to being the loudest dad at the game, Randy is an enthusiastic supporter of his son’s High School baseball team.
